We understand how challenging a life on hemodialysis can be. The Rockland Center for Vascular Surgery is dedicated to the management of your dialysis access. The center is staffed by Board-Certified Vascular Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, dialysis nurses; critical care nurses and Vascular Technicians. We are all focused on providing you with convenient and comfortable care in creating maintaining your dialysis access. It’s our caring staff that sets us apart.
As Vascular surgeons, we are uniquely qualified to care for your access since we actually create them. We provide complete continuity of care, from creation to maintenance, to provide optimal dialysis. All of our procedures are performed in our state-of-the-art access center. The procedures are done with safe and effective anesthesia performed by our Board-Certified Anesthesiologists. Our anesthesiologists are very experienced in giving anesthesia to the dialysis patient. We are proud to offer this service, which most access centers do not. Our dialysis, ICU and recovery nurses are the best in the region and receive top-notch evaluations time and time again.
Our team has served the Rockland area since 1979. We are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including hospital coverage when needed. Few access centers offer this round-the-clock care. We perform the latest in techniques and the full range of options including thrombolysis, balloon angioplasty, stenting and surgery. We work hand-in-hand with your kidney specialist and dialysis unit to ensure uninterrupted dialysis. We recognize that each dialysis patient requires an individualized, long-term plan of care; we here at The Rockland Center for Vascular Surgery hope you’ll allow us to work with you on yours.
